"A World Inside" is a cut song from the Seattle 2018 production of Ride the Cyclone, which Constance Blackwood sings.
According to an interview of the cast recording, Maxwell recounts the hectic creation of this song.[1] "Jacob (Richmond) and (Maxwell) wrote this in our apartments during a very intense weekend in Seattle while the cast was rehearsing down the street... I'd set up the apartment ironing board as an emergency keyboard stand and duct taped a microphone to a broom handle."[2] After the song was completed, it was demoed and rehearsed with the cast, to everyone's enjoyment. Unfortunately, due to Rockwell believing that there wasn't enough time to properly stage the number, it ended up being cut.
