Asløg Ingeborg[1]is a cut character from the 2009 production of Ride the Cyclone. She is the cousin of Ocean Rosenberg and the girlfriend of Hank. Astrid and Corey's characters were cut to create Mischa Bachinski.
History
Asløg Ingeborg was created in 2009 and played by Celine Stubel, who previously portrayed Penny Lamb in Legoland. Her character was put into the show after Trishna was cut. She was the second girlfriend of Hank/Wes Farmer and they had a ballad together called "La La Love", where they would act out their entire life if they hadn't died young. It cycled through their first time meeting, sailing the seas, having kids, shooting a bear, and Hank eventually dying due to his ALS. She is the cousin of main character Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg, who she would harm every time Ocean said/did something offensive. Her tough personality was merged with another cut character, Corey Ross, to create Mischa Bachinski. "La La Love" evolved into "Talia".
Trivia
- Asløg's actor, Celine Stubel, has confirmed that Astrid is a tough Nordic student. But in the sketches you can see how she is represented as a Scandinavian Tough Bitch[1]

- Asløg is canonically from Denmark based on the sketches, not from Norway.[1]
- Asløg is a fan of deathmetal music and she even plays a guitar.[1]
- During the show, Astrid would bite Ocean because "she deserved it", and she would also slap Ocean's face when Ocean treated another character poorly.[1]
- She was quiet and "truly strange", and she was the moral compass throughout the show.[1]
